15-year-old boy shot Madison attempted homicide
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A teenage boy suffering from a gunshot wound was dropped off at a Madison hospital early Tuesday morning, the police department reported.
Officers and an investigator spoke briefly to the victim, whose name was not released, after he arrived just before 2 a.m. at UW Health East Madison, according to an MPD report.
Afterwards, medical teams moved the 15-year-old boy taken to a different hospital via Med Flight. According to MPD’s statement the boy is currently in stable condition.
The report noted the police department is treating the case as an attempted homicide and detectives from the Violent Crime Unit are helping with the investigation.
