‘Critical incident,’ officer-involved shooting on Pennsylvania near I-40
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Officials are investigating the scene of an officer-involved shooting that took place on Monday, July 24, on Pennsylvania Street near I-40. Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department‘s Northwest Area Command were on the scene, but the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) is investigating the incident.
According to NMSP, the U.S. Marshals Service was also involved. Police say the suspect was struck by gunfire and is being treated at a hospital. At this time, police have not released which agency fired their guns.
