Rosalía ex-fiance Rauw Alejandro is speaking out against allegations that infidelity played a role in the end of their engagement.

The Puerto Rican singer, 30, published a statement in Spanish on Wednesday denying that he'd been unfaithful to the songstress, 30, during their three-year romance.

It comes amid fan speculation that he cheated on Rosalía with Instagram model Valeria Duque — who has since set her account to private.

Rauw told his 18.1million followers that he and Rosalía called off their engagement 'a few months ago' and insisted it was for reasons other than cheating.

'Throughout all these years, you've been part of my professional accomplishments, as well as all the happy moments I lived with my partner,' the hitmaker began, as translated by Billboard.

'I never thought I'd be in a position where I'd have to give a public statement about such a private matter in my life. Yes, a few months ago, Rosi and I ended our engagement,' he continued.

'There are thousands of problems that can cause a breakup but, in our case, it was not because of infidelity or a third person. During this time that I'm taking to assimilate everything, there have been false public allegations, and because of the respect I have for her, our families and all we ever lived, I couldn't stay quiet and continue to see how they try to destroy the most real love story God has ever allowed me to live.

'With nothing more to add, to my fans that I love so much, thank you for being there,' Rauw concluded.

When news of their split broke, a source told PEOPLE that he and Rosalía both agreed to end the relationship and still have 'love and respect for one another.'

The couple confirmed their engagement news in the music video for their new song, Beso, which was featured on their joint EP R&R, which debuted in March.

In the last few seconds of the video, a tearful Rosalía showed off a large diamond ring on her left hand. 'Oh my God,' she said in Spanish before she told Alejandro 'I love you.'

The rest of the music video consisted of short clips showing the pair waking up together, traveling across the globe, and enjoying meals with one another.

Rosalía also shared a few clips from the video on her Instagram, including the clip of her showing off the shiny new ring.

She wrote in her caption in Spanish: 'R R is out at last after more than 3 years together here are these 3 songs made with all the love in the world I hope you enjoy this little bit of us.'

The LLYLM songstress and the Lokera hitmaker initially sparked dating rumors when they were photographed leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles together in August 2021.

The pair have previously had production and songwriting credits on each other's work.

'For us it's always love first and everything else later, but we skipped that this time so we could finish RR and share it with the world,' Rosalía said in a press statement, according to PEOPLE.

'After more than 3 years these 3 songs are here and each one of them belongs to a different stage of love.'

Alejandro added: 'We always knew we wanted to do music together. However, with our relationship being the focus, we had to find the right time.

'A long time has passed by now and finding a way to fit all my feelings for her in three songs has been nearly impossible.

'This means I will be spending my days writing and writing many more songs about and with her. We're thrilled with this project. RR forever!'

The duo made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Los40 Music Awards in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in November 2021.

They also have tattoos for one another. While appearing on the Spanish talk show El Hormiguero in March 2022, Rosalía showed off the 'RR' tattoo on her foot.

Fans have since speculated that it is a tribute to her beau. Alejandro, meanwhile, has a tattoo above his navel that says 'Rosalía' in a handwritten font.
