The $145,000 Pony Car Racer Has Arrived
Ask a Mustang driver what they want, and they'll probably say a faster horse. Ford appears happy to deliver exactly that these days. From the four-cylinder EcoBoost car to the new Dark Horse model, the seventh-generation Mustang runs harder than its predecessor. And if the production cars aren't wild enough for you, Ford has developed a stable of race cars to attack road courses at every level of competition. The newest of those race cars, the Ford Mustang Dark Horse R, slots in below the Mustang GT3 and the Mustang GT4 for grassroots racing plus a new, single-make series that Ford will launch next year.
