Curfews just can’t stop Taylor Swift.

The multiplatinum-selling pop star roared right past the 11 p.m. weekend curfew at Levi’s Stadium for the second consecutive night on Saturday (July 29).

Not that the approximately 58,000 fans in attendance likely minded, as the star delivered yet another sold-out show on her blockbuster Eras Tour, which supports not just one but four recent albums — 2019’s “Lover,” 2020’s “Folklore” and “Evermore” and 2022’s “Midnights.”

“Swifties” were probably happy to just keep grooving to the dozens of tunes in the massive setlist.

The show ended with a cascade of fireworks at 11:26 a.m

Swift also broke curfew on Friday as she performed a 45-song, 3½-hour set that ran until roughly 11:38 p.m. So far, there have been no repercussions from Santa Clara city officials. Michelle Templeton, a spokeswoman for the city, said no noise complaints were filed with Santa Clara’s police department about Friday’s concert.

In 2017, the San Francisco 49ers — who manage the stadium — were fined $1,000 after U2 broke the then-10 p.m. curfew — an end time that has been a bone of contention between the Niners and city officials. The team has argued that the 10 p.m. curfew limits its ability to book acts, a claim that was underscored in 2017 when pop star Ed Sheeran dropped Levi’s from his tour itinerary, reportedly because of the early curfew.

In 2021, the Santa Clara City Council voted in favor of allowing weeknight (Sunday-Thursday) curfew extensions until 11 p.m. for five non-NFL events a year. No changes were made to the 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday curfew.

These Taylor Swift shows are the first reported cases of the 11 p.m. curfew being broken.
