4 people out of their homes after overnight apartment fire in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - An apartment fire is under investigation in southern Colorado.
Before 10 p.m. Tuesday, the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the Fountain Springs apartment complex, near Jet Wing and Fountain, to a fire. Firefighters discovered unattended cooking sparked the blaze and quickly knocked out the fire within minutes of arriving.
Four people are now out of their homes in one unit. All of them made it out, and only one person had minor injuries that were treated on scene.
