Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival will make a stop in Raleigh in September.

The festival, featuring Nelson and Family, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, The String Cheese Incident, Los Lobos and Particle Kid will play Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh on Sept. 8. Tickets go on sale April 28 at 10 a.m. on LiveNation.com.

The 2023 Outlaw Music Festival tour is a celebration of the country legend's 90th birthday, spent the way he likes it – on the road, making music with friends.

“I am so thrilled to announce these additional dates for our 2023 Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” Nelson said. “I can’t wait to keep the celebration of my 90th birthday going into the fall with this great lineup of artists, my friends and family, and of course, the amazing fans.”

In his 90th year, Nelson is still winning acclaim, including two 2023 Grammy awards and a nomination to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

In addition to the Raleigh date, the Outlaw Music Festival will play:

Charlotte, at PNC Music Pavilion, on Sept. 9;

Franklin, Tenn., at FirstBank Amphitheater on Sept. 10; and

Simpsonville, S.C., at CCNB Amphiteatre at Heritage Park, on Sept. 12.
