My Hero Academia chapter 387 was absolutely nerve-wracking and, along with the secrets of the Himura clan, the Todoroki Family issues were also tackled. The family plotline looks like it is at its climax now and will be sorted in any chapter now.
The Himura Clan
My Hero Academia chapter 387 began with the Himura Clan. Fans know this clan to be the one where Rei, todoroki's mom, comes from. Geten, who fans knew to be a member of the Paranormal Liberation Front, was revealed to be a member of this clan as well, however, that wasn't really surprising to the fans as most had already figured that out from his cryogenesis powers. Geten explained that the blood runs thick in the Himura Clan. This clan was believed to be a mighty force in the past and even land reforms couldn't bring it down.
However, they wanted to keep their bloodlines pure and, for that reason, married within their different branches. Meanwhile, the growth of Meta Abilities eventually led to their downfall.
A point came when the main family started selling itself off. When this news became public, the lower families scattered and diluted the blood and as such, the power of the Himura Clan also scattered all over. According to what was mentioned, it can be established that there are many people in the world of My Hero Academia who have latent powers of the Himura Clan that they are unaware of, and of course, this ties into the Todoroki family, which Horikoshi has thrown quite a lot of focus on over the course of the story.

Dabi Awakens A New Quirk
Geten's story that he revealed to the fans in My Hero Academia chapter 387 ties directly to the Todoroki plotline. Fans got to see the fight between Endeavor and Toya progress in this chapter. Previously, it was revealed that Toya was going to explode and with him, he was planning on taking down quite a significant chunk of the city. Not only does he want to kill Endeavor, but his final act is going to be something grand that would see the world go up and flames. Knowing that, Endeavor attempted to stop this by dragging him as far away from the city as he possibly could. At one point, however, he realized that he didn't have enough time and that his fight with All For One had slowed him down enough to see him fail this mission.
Thus, Endeavor took a stand in My Hero Academia 387. He decided to fly and propel himself into the sky with the power of Dabi's Quirk, which is continually growing, as it seems. Dabi's Quirk is stronger than that Endeavor has and, at the same time, its powers keep continually growing as the core inside his body is compressing. Endeavor also tried to tell Dabi to put out his flames, however, at this point, it appears that he isn't even aware of his actions and his body is simply moving based on instinct and trauma that it has carried for years.
When wondering how Toya is still standing, it was made clear soon after that, within his body, a new power has awakened. This power is that of the Himura Clan and he now possesses the abilities of ice as well, just like his brother, Shoto Todoroki. In essence, Toya is the perfect child that Endeavor was looking for all his life, yet he had cast him aside and led him to the point where he is today. Toya's Quirk made its appearance in My Hero Academia chapter 387. And with that, he reached a new level of power entirely. Despite that, Endeavor believed that it was too late to save everyone around them and, thus, he decided to take Toya as far into the sky as possible and die with him, taking responsibility for his actions. While doing that, though, fans were pleasantly surprised as Rei, his wife, made an appearance. Together, the Todoroki Family is going to stop Toya from dying and My Hero Academia chapter 387 solidified that even further.
While Endeavor is the perpetrator of the entire thing, Toya also believes Rei to be complicit. As such, she also has a part to play in the conflict of the Todoroki family and this will likely carry on in the upcoming chapter of My Hero Academia as well. Fans didn't get to see anything from Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia chapter 387, however, it should be expected for him to step into action very soon, likely in the next few chapters. All in all, My Hero Academia 387 was certainly intense and it makes the anticipation for the next chapter all the better.
