I'm not being 'abused' by Bam Adebayo
Mitchell Robinson expressed his displeasure on Twitter over the narrative that he has been getting severely outplayed by Bam Adebayo in this series.
A Twitter user wrote to Robinson that he shouldn’t call himself the best center in New York when he’s getting “abused” by Adebayo.
Robinson responded.
“How I get abuse[d]? When I gotta help EVERY time on defense yeah lol make sense,” he wrote, accompanied by a laughing and thumbs-down emoji.
Adebayo is coming off back-to-back doubles-doubles and has been the best big man in the series, which the Heat lead 3-1. Robinson has struggled. He is dealing with a bothersome right hip, although he didn’t use that as an excuse after the Knicks’ Game 4 loss in Miami.
“I got to figure it out,” Robinson said after the game in which he had six points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 33 minutes. “I got to have more energy, more urgency, try to get the job done.”

The Knicks have been outrebounded by the Heat in the last two games, and were particularly bad on the glass on Monday. Miami had seven offensive rebounds in the fourth quarter alone.
“S—, got to box out. We got to limit them to one shot,” Robinson said. “I didn’t do a good job of it [on Monday]. And I got to be better.”
Immanuel Quickley was listed as doubtful with a sprained left ankle by the Knicks for Wednesday night’s Game 5 at the Garden. It’s unlikely he will be available.
Quickley was seen wearing a walking boot prior to Monday’s Game 4 loss and was walking with a noticeable limp.
Miles McBride took Quickley’s spot in the rotation and was scoreless in four minutes.

Jimmy Butler (sprained right ankle) and Caleb Martin (back contusion) of the Heat are questionable. Both are expected to play.
