TLC Star Olivia Plath's Teen Brother Dead After "Unexpected Accident"

Olivia Plath is grieving the loss of her brother Micah Meggs.
The Welcome to Plathville star—who is married to the eldest son on the TLC series Ethan Plath—recently announced her sibling's passing and informed her followers she would be stepping away from her channels during this difficult time.
"Hey guys, I'm jumping off of social media for a bit. Don't worry if you don't see me around – I'm taking some space now," she wrote on her Instagram Stories May 4, per Us Weekly. "I lost a younger brother last night to an unexpected accident and I need some clarity and space for grieving."
According to the Roanoke Times, citing Virginia State Police, the 15-year-old had been riding his electric bicycle in the southbound lane on U.S. 220 in Franklin County on the night of May 4 when a car hit his bike. Police told the outlet Micah died at the scene, adding that the driver of the vehicle was not injured and that the accident remains under investigation.
