Tom Brady is in 'deep discussions' with Las Vegas Raiders to become a minority partner
Tom Brady is in 'deep discussions' to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, according to a new report.
Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback with the Patriots and Bucs, announced his retirement from the NFL in February after 23 seasons.
And now, ESPN has reported that discussions between Brady and Vegas owner Mark Davis have been going on 'for weeks.'
However, the publication cited sources who called the negotiations 'extremely sensitive and fluid,' while a source close to the situation said Brady's investment would be 'passive' - as in, he'd have no control over business or football matters.
An agreement between Brady and Davis for him to become a minority owner with the Raiders would be their second foray into business together this year.

And he announced he'd become a minority owner of Davis' Las Vegas Aces in March
In March, Brady announced he became a limited partner in the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, another franchise that is owned by Davis.
Brady is set to begin a mammoth 10-year, $375million contract with FOX as an NFL broadcaster next year.
But according to a source cited by ESPN, FOX has 'blessed' his possible partnership with the Raiders.
Before retiring, Brady had previous contact with the Dolphins about becoming a minority owner of the franchise, according to an NFL investigation.
The contact with Brady was found to have occurred during the 2019 season and postseason, when he was on the New England Patriots, and during and after the 2021 season, when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
That resulted in Miami being disciplined over tampering violations by the NFL, and they were docked its 2023 first-round pick and its 2024 third-round pick over the matter.
Prior to his February retirement, Brady suffered the first losing season of his career as his Bucs squad fell to an 8-9 record.
Off the field, he finalized a highly-publicized divorce from his now-ex-wife and supermodel Giselle Bundchen.
Bundchen and Brady were married for 13 years before their divorce was finalized in October of 2022.
It was rumored that their divorce had to do with Brady's short-lived retirement following the 2021 season.
But that decision lasted just two months as he decided to return to Tampa for one final year.
'You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year, so... really, thank you guys so much to every single one of you for supporting me,' Brady said in a video this winter announcing his retirement.
'My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors. I could go over forever, there's too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing. Love you all.'
