New Street Fighter 6 character introduction video for Luke tells what he's been up to since Street Fighter 5 while beating down Dee Jay
Now that all of the launch characters, their music, the first year of DLC and more have been revealed for Street Fighter 6, it appears the developers have something a little different going on to keep fans engaged until the game releases.
Capcom has released the first of presumably many character introduction videos coming for the cast of SF6 with the first focusing on Luke as he lays the beat down on Dee Jay.
As to what Luke's been doing since Street Fighter 5, he's since left the military and joined up with a security / PMC organization as a martial arts trainer — although that information was already revealed in the fighter's bio for the new game.
Besides acting as the player-created avatar's first mentor in World Tour mode, however, we don't really know as much about how Luke's role as SF6's lead protagonist will actually play out.
Previous looks at the new game's prequel comic indicates that Luke will likely be working with Ken to help clear the Shoto's name after he was accused of a terrorist attack, which may well tie back to Luke's fahther being killed in a terrorist attack when he was still a boy.

The fictional country of Nayshall will likely be the setting where most of Street Fighter 6's story questions are going to be answered as to what JP and A.K.I. seem to be doing from the shadows.
We don't believe Capcom has shown Luke vs. Dee Jay footage before, so this intro does also give us something new to look at too.
Capcom's still probably got 17 more of these character intro videos in the works, so expect to see them pop up every few days as we inch closer to Street Fighter 6's full release date on June 2.
