The conflict with Priscilla stemmed from both Keough and her brother Benjamin being named trustees to Lisa Marie's estate in 2016, after she was the sole trustee for years.

Benjamin died by suicide in 2020, meaning the fortune now belongs to Keough. Priscilla is contending the 2016 amendment and has questioned the authenticity of her late daughter's signatures on the document.

The family hostility continued in a Los Angeles court, earlier this year, when Lisa Marie's ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 61, was granted full custody of their twin girls daughter Harper and Finley, 14, in the wake of her passing at 54.

Lockwood had been in a contentious custody battle for seven years with Lisa Marie, whose side Riley took, as she was upset she was losing time with her half-sisters to him.

Priscilla has been amenable to Lockwood amid recent developments as she seeks to 'be a part of her grandchildren's lives,' a source told People last month.

Keough recently was seen in the 10-episode Amazon Prime miniseries Daisy Jones and The Six, which focuses on the 1970s music scene in Los Angeles, and is loosely inspired by Fleetwood Mac.

The show which follows the rise of rock band Daisy Jones and The Six through the '70s LA music scene on their quest for worldwide icon status.

After scoring the title role in the TV adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling 2019 novel of the same name, the mother-of-one told the publication that she 'took a lot of singing lessons [because]' she 'hadn't sung prior to this show.'

'We were put into band camp, which is what they called it, at Sound City in the Valley in Los Angeles, which is a really historic studio that a lot of people recorded albums at, so it was a big deal that we got to rehearse there. We did that for many months, and that was probably our biggest rehearsal, period,' the performer told Modern Luxury.

As for the most 'challenging scenes' to film, the Santa Monica native said shooting 'all the musical stadium shows' because they were all recorded within 'the same couple weeks in New Orleans at night.'

'We were doing concerts basically from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. every night for two weeks, and that was really physically demanding,' Keough explained.

Reese Witherspoon, who produced the show, described the actress as 'simply a force of nature in this show.'

'She took months to develop the character from the inside out. Training vocally, practicing with the band every week for months, building Daisy Jones as a character. The bravado of a woman who is her own muse, the passion for living on the edge, and the heartbreak of being deeply in love with an unavailable man. All of it. She brought it all to life, and so gloriously,' the Oscar winner marveled.
