Kendra Randle responds to Kenyon Martin’s criticism of her husband’s kiss
It took a couple of days, but Kendra Randle took to Twitter on Saturday to let Kenyon Martin know he was off base criticizing her husband Julius Randle for kissing her after the Knicks’ Game 5 win over the Heat on Wednesday night at the Garden.
“Slow news day I guess,” Kendra tweeted, along with some laughing emojis. “Both of us grew up in single parent homes. We never saw our dads respect our mothers. I’m so grateful my kids get to grow up watching their dad be the best father and husband.”
Kendra also tweeted that her husband would not have been outwardly affectionate if the Knicks had lost.
“By the way that game was after a win,” she added. “He would never be in the mood to kiss or even talk after a loss lol. But talk about real issues. Not a husband and father loving his family.”
While making an appearance on ex-NBA star Gilbert Arenas’ show “Gil’s Arena,” Martin said it “bothered” him to see Randle kissing Kendra after the Knicks’ win.

“We just got done playing a hard-fought game in a playoff series, and the first thing you do is you go kiss your wife!” said Martin, who is once divorced. “That’s the first thing you do?! Where’s your mind at?! I mean, it was the very first thing he did, dawg, when the game was over.”
Martin said he was watching the game with Shakira, his second wife, when he saw Randle’s public display of affection.

“I am sitting there watching the game with my wife,” he said. “I said to her, ‘I love you to death, but ain’t no way in that instant … I mean I am going to be with my guys because we just got done winning and I am not even thinking about you.’ ”
Randle and Kendra were married in 2016 after meeting at the University of Kentucky in 2013. The couple shares two sons, Kyden, 6, and Jayce, 1.
