Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy is officially heading to small screens, with an all-star cast preparing to reunite in St. Barts.

After attempts at making a revival series fell apart, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy was officially announced at today's NBCUniversal Upfront presentation - along with the cast full of New York alums, according to People.

Luann de Lesseps, 57, Dorinda Medley, 58, Sonja Morgan, 59, Ramona Singer, 66, Kristen Taekman, 46, and Kelly Bensimon, 55, will be making up the cast of the season five, set to take place in St. Barts.

Shooting is set to begin in June, however a premiere date has yet to be unveiled.

The series may not land on Peacock until 2024, as season four of RHUGT has yet to debut.

While fans will be delighted to learn some of their favorites will be returning to air, there is one notable absence - Jill Zarin, who was set to appear in the original Legacy series.

Zarin allegedly went to war with Bravo executives during contract negotiations, resulting in the original iteration of RHONY: Legacy dying on the operating table.

More recently, Zarin insisted she played no role in their decision to pull the plug on the Legacy spin-off, after it had been reported she heavily contributed to negotiations going off track.

'Legacy didn't happen because it just wasn’t meant to happen. That's the truth,' she told Page Six. 'It has nothing to do with me. It has to do with the producers and what they decided to do. I don’t really know.'

Another name fans may have wanted to see appear in the reunion was Bethenny Frankel, who previously revealed she had been invited to join the cast but was not interested in joining.

The cast enthusiastically shared their Legacy news with social media fans, and shared photos from their appearance at the Upfronts.

'Look who's coming in HOT! We're back,' Luann posted to Instagram.

'We're back!' Dorinda rejoiced.

The original plan was to bring back MVPs from The Big Apple Franchise for a full season of traditional Housewives drama, entitled RHONY: Legacy, but the strategy shifted to corral the fan-favorites for a short period of time.

Back in April, Page Six reported that Bravo was retooling RHONY: Legacy to be more like their thriving Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip franchise.

Sources told the outlet that the network is trying to bring its RHONY reboot back, as the long-awaited revival series allegedly fell apart during contract negotiations with the Housewives.

In January, Page Six reported that Bravo has 'lost interest' in RHONY: Legacy due to a dispute about how much the cast should be paid.

The network reportedly 'hit pause' on contract negotiations as sources close to the cast shared they believed they were being low-balled, while production insiders revealed the cast was expecting to be paid too much.

Bravo is currently gearing up for the launch of their RHONY overhaul, as the network recast the series with a fresh slate of diverse Housewives.

During a segment of What What Happens Live in January, Housewives impresario Andy Cohen teased RHONY fans with his impressions of the new cast.

'They're super fashionable,' said Cohen. 'The things that they are arguing about are as ridiculous as early RHONY.

'I think it's going to be a different show. It's so hard because everyone is going to compare it to RHONY, which was so perfect. And I hope this is perfect in a totally different way.'
