Diablo 4 Player Shares Helpful Tip for Removing Socketed Gems
A Diablo 4 fan has shared a helpful tip for players who want to remove their socketed gems without having to pay the Jeweler. In Diablo 4, players can insert gems into their gears to improve aspects of their characters. There are various types of gems that provide boosts in damage, resistance, and life. They can be crafted at the Jeweler or obtained from ores and chests scattered throughout Diablo 4's five unique regions.
Diablo 4 fans who pre-ordered the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game have been able to roll out their characters since June 2. After spending a certain amount of time with the game, they are now discussing what Blizzard can do to provide a healthier gaming experience. Recently, some players have expressed their confusion about the ability to change tattoos but not hairstyles, saying that the game has "limited" customization options. Also, revamping Diablo 4's camera system is being requested by some disgruntled players.

A Diablo 4 player, who goes by Goal1 on Reddit, has shared a helpful tip players can use to remove socketed gems from their gears without paying the Jeweler. Players can add gems to their inventory by going to the Blacksmith and salvaging the socketed gear. The original poster suggested they salvage by the "Directly in Inventory" button at the Blacksmith, as the game ignores socketed gears for auto salvage when they use the "All Junk" button. In the comments, players who spent a fortune saving their gems thanked Goal1 for this helpful tip.
Gems are fundamental elements of character builds in Diablo 4, each providing different benefits depending on their rarity. As with many action-RPG games, socketing gems into gears is one of the most common ways to make adjustments to characters. Players can stand a chance against stronger enemies by choosing the right gem for the right gear. In addition, they can upgrade their weapons and enhance the extra stats of their rings and amulet.
To be fair, Diablo 4 hasn't had a flawless launch, with some players encountering major connection issues since the beginning of the early access period. Also, many PlayStation and Xbox owners were met with a license error that prevented them from hopping on the game. Fortunately, the developers were quick enough to solve the error before it sparked further controversy. It remains to be seen whether players will keep running into such global issues when Diablo 4 launches on June 6.
Diablo 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
