How To Complete Daytime Solstice Horizons Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO
This Collection Challenge focuses on Pokemon that can only be accessed in the daytime. In the case of Pokemon GO, daytime means roughly from 8AM Local Time to 8PM local time. During this time, players can expect to see an increase in spawns of the Pokemon required to complete the Collection Challenge. Here are the tasks players must complete to complete the challenge:
Catch a Solrock
Catch a Ledyba
Catch a Petilil
Catch a Purrloin
Catch a Drifloon
Catch a Sewaddle
Catch a Cottonee
Catch a Murkrow
Total reward: 2,000 Stardust, a Fomantis encounter, and a Daytime Solstice Horizons Collection Challenge Medal.
How To Complete Nighttime Solstice Horizons Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO
This version of the Solstice Horizons Collection Challenge focuses on night spawns - 8PM Local Time to 8AM Local Time. The following Pokemon will see an increase in spawns during this time. In order to complete the challenge, players must:
Catch a Lunatone
Catch a Spinarak
Catch an Oddish
Catch a Stunky
Catch a Misdreavus
Catch a Venipede
Catch a Foongus
Catch a Phantump
Total reward: 2,000 Stardust, a Fomantis encounter, and a Nighttime Solstice Horizons Collection Challenge Medal.
The focus on Fomantis in both Collection Challenge rewards is likely due to Fomantis recently being made available in Shiny Form. Lucky players may encounter Shiny Fomantis in these rewards, but if not, there is an increase in Fomantis spawns in line with the event that will also increase the chances of finding a Shiny.
Pokemon GO is available for free on mobile devices.
