AMD AICs To Showcase Custom Radeon RX 7700 & RX 7600 Graphics Cards At Computex 2023
AMD's AIC partners are expected to showcase the first Radeon RX 7700 & RX 7600 graphics cards at Computex 2023 next month.
AMD Radeon RX 7700 & RX 7600 Mainstream & Custom RDNA 3 Graphics Cards Rumored To Be Showcased At Computex 2023
According to Igor's Lab, AMD has run into a problem with the pricing strategy of its upcoming RDNA 3-powered Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards. The reason is that while AMD wants to launch its Radeon RX 7800 graphics cards at a far better value than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, you'd have to price it at least the same as the RTX 4070 which retails for $599 US or lower. It looks like that will lead to profitability issues as the card might not make enough profits at that price.
Igor Wallossek also says that he has been able to confirm the presence of custom AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards and the likelihood of the RX 7700 XT graphics cards at Computex 2023. Both of these cards will be aiming at the mainstream segment with prices under the sub $400 US range & it is likely that we also get an official announcement by AMD during its Computex keynote (yet to be announced).
What I can confirm, however, is that individual (!) AMD board partners will show a Radeon RX 7600 as a finished product at Computex, while other partners, who use both AMD and NVIDIA chips, are first exercising wait-and-see restraint. To paraphrase politely. The statement that you don’t want to produce anything just to satisfy production and where you don’t see any chances of profits then hurts a bit. There is no price basis for a Radeon RX 7700XT at the moment, because you could even slip into the loss zone because the target group shifts and the price shouldn’t fit anymore. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 custom graphics cards will be showcased by 1st party AIBs such as XFX, Sapphire, PowerColor, and ASRock. Meanwhile, other AIBs who deal in both NVIDIA and AMD cards might hold off their showcase until the cards are officially released. Computex 2023 commences on the 28th
AMD Radeon RX 7600 Series Graphics Card "Rumored" Specifications
The AMD Navi 33 GPU which is likely going to power the Radeon RX 7600 series graphics cards would be the third chip of the RDNA 3 lineup and utilize a monolithic design.
The Navi 33 GCD is expected to feature 2 Shader Engines and each Shader Engine has 2 Shader Arrays (2 per SE / 4 in total). This rounds up to 16 WGP's or 32 Compute Units for a total of 2048 cores which is the same core count as the Navi 23 GPU.

The GPU will come packaged with 32 MB of Infinity Cache, the same amount as the Navi 23 GPU, and across a 128-bit wide bus. First introduced on laptops as the Radeon RX 7700 & RX 7600 series, the Navi 33 GPUs will be aiming at the budget segment with prices between the $250-$350 US range.
