Here's a new Street Fighter 6 tier list... but it ranks every pre-battle face that characters can make
Capcom decided to take a page out of Soul Calibur's book for Street Fighter 6 by adding the ability to change a character's facial expression pre-match, which seems to be enjoyed by basically everyone.
We've got a new SF6 tier list on our hands from Bafael, but instead of ranking each character's strength, he instead rates all 72 different faces they can make.
There's only three characters with an S-tier face according to Bafael that may be pretty hard to dispute between Luke's weird smile, E. Honda looking portrait-esque at the camera and Ryu's bedroom eyes.
But things are probably going to get a bit more contentious below that.
He's got confused Blanka, shocked Zangief and smiling Dhalsim all up in A tier and at the same time has Marisa's shouting and befuddled faces down in C and B tier respectively.
Bafael doesn't seem to be much of a fan of Cammy's expressions in SF6 either, considering three of them are down in F tier and the fourth is in D.
Obviously, this is just a sillier tier list for something that doesn't impact the gameplay at all, but it's still fun to think about and look at all of the different faces developers had to come up with and put into the game — plus the new ones that'll be coming in the future.
