Bold & Beautiful Recap: Hope Tells Thomas She Wants Him

At the cabin, Thomas embraces Hope and assures her everything will be all right. She says it won’t as Liam saw her kiss him. Hope steps away from Thomas, and says Liam warned her and so did her mom, but she insisted everything was fine. She sobs that Thomas was the biggest threat to Liam, and she was the one who kissed him and turned her whole world upside down. Thomas believes Liam will get over this, and he has made mistakes and she’s always forgiven him. She knows, but he sees this as the ultimate betrayal, and he asked for a divorce. Thomas says he’s so sorry, and he never wanted to cause her any more pain or heartache. She tells him this isn’t on him, it’s on her. She was the one who kissed him.
Hope doesn’t want Thomas to feel guilty about this, as it is on her. Thomas argues she was just caught up in Rome and the success of their line, and he should have kept his distance. Hope admits she wanted to be close to him, and she’s been fighting this for a while now. She is not proud of it, she doesn’t understand it, but she still caved in knowing the risks. She again asserts she kissed him, and maybe there is something wrong with her. He says that’s true, and she’s one of the most loving and committed… She cuts him off and cries she doesn’t feel that way now. She may have destroyed her family and marriage for what?

Thomas asserts that she made a mistake, which doesn’t take away the years she has been the most amazing wife and mother. He feels Liam just needs time. Hope says Liam has already gone to see Steffy and wants her again, it’s the same old song and dance with Liam and his divided feelings. However, when she’s with him, he makes her feel like she is the only woman in the world. She says that’s why she’ll always remember the two of them in Rome. Thomas asks what she’s saying. Hope responds, “Liam wants Steffy and I want the man who only wants me. I want you, Thomas.” She pulls him into a passionate kiss, which he responds to. They stop and stare at one another.

At the Spencer offices, Wyatt heard Liam was in and asks how it went with Hope. Liam gives him a look, and Wyatt says, “That good, huh.” Liam says Hope apologized and asked for forgiveness. Wyatt still can’t believe she jeopardized their marriage but wonders if he’s at a place to forgive her and save their marriage. Liam needs to understand why she did this in the first place, and she can’t explain why she kissed Thomas. Wyatt reminds him that he and Hope have made mistakes in the past and forgiven one another for the sake of their marriage and the children.

Liam admits he doesn’t want to be the guy who is constantly wondering if his wife is cheating on him. Wyatt thinks Liam’s pretty resolved, so what is he saying? Liam says he still wants a divorce. Wyatt asks his brother if this is really it for him, he really wants a divorce. Has he really thought this through? Liam doesn’t want a divorce, he doesn’t want this, but the kiss happened. Wyatt reminds him that he always said his and Hope’s love could overcome anything. Liam says anything but Thomas, which he was clear about. He says like it or not, Hope has feelings for Thomas.

At the cliff house, Steffy folds laundry while thinking about Liam kissing her, and her telling him to respect her and her marriage. Finn returns home from work, gives Steffy a kiss, and asks if she’s okay. He’s sure Thomas’ secret being out must be getting to her. She admits Thomas was blindsided when she told him that she knew about the kiss, and Thomas asked her not to say anything. However, she told him she knew about the kiss from Liam, which stunned him.
Steffy relays that Thomas was shocked Liam saw them, and he didn’t know Liam was in Rome. He claims he and Hope got caught up in the show’s success and the city. Finn says Thomas is a grown man and could have stopped Hope, or not just been alone with Hope in one of the most romantic cities in the world to begin with. Steffy doesn’t see this ending well, as Liam has always blamed Thomas, but now is realizing Hope is the issue. Finn asks if she told Thomas that she knew he didn’t initiate the kiss. She did, and she can tell Thomas has changed, but he now wants to protect Hope at all costs. She feels he’s grown, but Finn says it could be a sign of how deep his feelings for Hope are. Steffy believes the feelings are mutual. He says he was just thinking how grateful he is to come home to her every day, and they kiss, but Steffy can’t stop thinking about Liam kissing her.
