Gone are the days of the prohibitively expensive M.2 SSDs. Amazon Prime members can get 4TB (Terabytes!) of NVMe storage for just $229.99. The MSRP on this WD_BLACK SN850X is $699.99. Even though it's rarely offered at full price, it's never been offered for this low before. This beats the previous $299.99 low-price by a full $70.

The WD_BLACK 4TB SN850X meets the speed requirements for use inside your PS5, by a lot. It has speeds up to 7,300MBps. The minimum requirement for PS5 is 5,500MBps. What it doesn't have, at least fresh out the box, is a heatsink. However, you can find heatsinks for cheap on Amazon, install one on the SSD and then slap it into your PS5. Just make sure the heatsink fits inside before you buy one.

If you're going to use it for your PC, game on. As long as your mobo is compatible, you won't have any problems, and most, if not all, motherboards made over the last few years have at least one slot for an M.2 drive like this one. This is easily one of the best PC gaming deals of Prime Day, and maybe one of the best Prime Day deals overall.
